DIA’s November traffic up 1.6%; manager predicts record year

Denver International Airport said Tuesday that its November passenger traffic was up 1.6 percent from a year earlier. The airport counted 4,088,543 passengers in November, bringing year-to-date traffic to 48,552,636, also up 1.6 percent from the same period of 2010. “There is no question that Denver International Airport is on track for another record-breaking year,” DIA Aviation Manager Kim Day said in a statement. “The very busy Thanksgiving holiday coupled with capacity increases at both Frontier and Southwest certainly helped to offset the planned capacity cuts that United implemented in November…
