The Somerset Daily American profiles Eileen Melvin, president of UMF Medical, and the company's recent expansion overseas. The Richland Township company has begun doing business in Saudi Arabia, thanks to help from the Pennsylvania Global Access Program, the Small Business Administration and the Southern Alleghenies Planning and Development Commission. Melvin spoke about the cultural differences in Saudi Arabia and how it is becoming a new market for American health care companies.
