Megabus to end Pittsburgh to Akron, Erie service

Megabus will eliminate its routes from Pittsburgh to both Erie and Akron, Ohio, next month but has recently started service to Morgantown, W.Va. The discount bus service, which is owned by Coach USA, will stop its two- to three-times daily service to both Erie and Akron on March 14. Dale Moser, president and COO of Coach USA and Megabus, said that the Pittsburgh-Erie and Pittsburgh-Akron routes are being discontinued due to a lack of ridership.
